32 creators representing the Spanish-speaking community on Twitch will come together LIVE and compete in a 1-day tournament featuring IRL and video gaming challenges that mirror each other. The winner will automatically qualify for TwitchCon Amsterdam and win a flight, ticket, and hotel covered by Twitch Rivals.

Challenge #0 | Icebreaker

  • DMCA Chairs (Musical Chairs)
    • 32 Players compete in a game of Musical Chairs
    • In each round of Musical Chairs, when the music begin, players walk around a row of back-to-back chairs.
    • When the music stops, players must sit in any vacant chair.
    • Any player who is unable to seat themselves in a vacant chair is eliminated
    • Before the start of the next round, chairs are removed from the playing area
    • Process repeats until only 1 player remains
    • To avoid pushing/shoving and risk of injury, any “ties” (chair is claimed by 2 people at the same time), winner is determined by whoever has claimed the “most” space on the chair; if too close to call, tie broken by Rock Paper Scissors

Challenge #1 | Don't Wake Nanny

  • 2 Duos compete at a time
  • Creators begin the game laying in a bed, under the covers with the lights off with the "Nanny" outside of the room.
  • Creators will attempt to build a tower with objects located within the room while the Nanny periodically renters.
  • If Nanny spots the Creators outside of their bed and covers, Nanny will knock over their tower, leave the room and Creators must restart the creation of their towers.
  • Timer pauses when Nanny is in the room
  • Teams are ranked based on the final height of the tower after 5 minutes.

Challenge #2 | Pots and Paella!

  • 2 Duos compete at a time
  • Players retrieve 5 food items from a challenge tank.
  • After (or while) items are retrieved, players toss their food items into 5 pots distanced along the set.
  • Players are timed based on how quickly they can retrieve their items and toss each item into each pot.
  • After X time limit, if a team hasn’t completed the challenge, they are ranked based on the time of their last made item.
  • More ingredients in the rice tank than necessary.
  • Recipe provides the correct order of ingredients to build the “perfect paella”, but it isn’t necessary to follow recipe.
  • Time is locked in when last item successfully lands in its pan.

Challenge #3 | Operation Tango (PC)

  • 4 Duos compete simultaneously
  • Duos compete at their PCs during this Challenge
  • Requires a lot of communication to be successful - so players put on boom-mic headsets to talk directly to each other
  • Webcam on each monitor, close cut on player's face. Custom GFX layout for monitoring this challenge.
  • 20-Minute Time Limit
  • Teams are ranked based on completion time and # of puzzles passed
    • Ties broken by time to complete most recent puzzle

Challenge #4 | Moving Out (PC)

  • 4 Duos compete simultaneously
  • Duos compete at their PCs during this Challenge
  • Teams are ranked based on the total time to complete the first three (3) puzzles of the cooperative story (not incl. tutorial)
  • If the 3 puzzles are not completed in time, ties are broken by (1) number of puzzles completed, then (2) total time to complete the number of puzzles

Quarterfinals | Hasbro's BATTLESHIP

  • All Quarterfinals matches are played at the same time
  • 1v1 Best-of-3 Conquest
    • “Commander” Mode
    • Games 1 & 2 are played simultaneously
    • If neither team achieves a clean sweep, a Game 3 is played.
  • Game winner sits out
  • First team to have both players win a Game advance to Semifinals

Finale | The Last Drop

  • With one player at a time, the teams take turns adding water from one large cup into a smaller cup
  • The smaller cup cannot be moved or touched
  • Water can only be added in one purposeful motion (i.e. players cannot pour some water into the cup, then add more after)
  • The first team that causes the smaller cup to overflow loses.
