Event Details

• 32 Players divided into 16 teams of 2 players each
• 2 Day Event
  • Day 1: Group Stage
    • Top 2 from each group will advance to Day 2
  • Day 2: Final Group

Tournament format

• Day 1: Group Stage

  • Seeding Match
    • Duration: 30 minutes
    • Both players of the team will solve and drive the puzzle
    • Teams will be ranked based on their average fastest lap time.
    • In the case of a Tie, the tiebreaker will be determined by the difference in times between each team's fastest player.
  • Group Stage

    • Teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams, based on their result in the seeding match.

    • 1 Rounds

      • 3 maps
      • Duration of maps: 30 minutes
        • Map 1: Pro + Variety will map and drive to get the best lap time. The average time between both players will be the team's total time
        • Map 2: Pro will be mapping the puzzle and Variety will be driving.
        • Map 3: Variety will be mapping the puzzle and Pro will be driving.

    • After each map teams will be awarded the following points based on the fastest lap:

      • 1st: 5 Points
      • 2nd: 3 Points
      • 3rd: 2 Points
      • 4th: 1 Point
      • In case of a tie points will be shared among tied teams.

    • Once all maps have been played, teams will be ranked based on the total amount of points obtained across all maps.

      • In case of a tie the following tiebreaker will take place
        • Team with the best combined time across all maps.
        • If still tied, best time from the last map, and forward until the tie is broken.

    • Top 2 of each group will advance to Day 2

• Day 2: Final Group

  • Teams will compete in a group of 8 teams
  • 1 Round
    • 5 Maps
    • Duration of maps: 30 minutes
      • Map 1: Pro + Variety will map and drive to get the best lap time. The average time between both players will be the team's total time
      • Map 2: Pro will be mapping the puzzle and Variety will be driving.
      • Map 3: Variety will be mapping the puzzle and Pro will be driving.

Scoring

• After each map teams will be awarded the following points based on the fastest lap:
  • 1st: 10 Points
  • 2nd: 8 Points
  • 3rd: 7 Points
  • 4th: 5 Points
  • 5th: 4 Points
  • 6th: 3 Points
  • 7th: 2 Points
  • 8th: 1 Point
  • In case of a tie points will be shared among tied teams.
• Once all maps have been played, teams will be ranked based on the total amount of points obtained across all maps.
  • In case of a tie the following tiebreaker will take place
    • Team with the best combined time across all maps.
    • If still tied, best time from the last map, and forward until the tie is broken.
